Nba Playoffs

All I have to say is if you are a basketball fan, tune into ESPN. Once again the Bulls are staying right with the #1 seed Heat in an intense physical match u, and no the crazy lady from the last game is not in the front row of this one.

Hicks vs Knicks

Getting ready to watch my Pacers take on the Knicks at MSG. The Pacers lead the series 1-0 as they won the first game with consistent offense and physical defense. Frustrating their leading scorer the whole game, which led to Carmelo Anthony shooting only 10-28, but can they do it again? The Pacers have struggled on the road during the regular season, as well as the first round of the playoffs. Another question will be how the refs call the game, if the refs continue to allow physical play then you have to give the advantage to the Pacers. However, if the refs are quick to blow the whistle then we may see Carmelo Anthony get to the line more and see early foul trouble for the Pacers. As a Pacer fan I hope the Pacers can continue to play well on both ends and continue to score the ball, but you have to think that the Knicks will come out with a sense of urgency and play better than they did in game 1. Who do you have winning this game?

Gasping for air.

Wrote this in between classes today, and I wont lie some of it during class. Look at it, read it!

Gasping For Air

Can't breathe, starting to run out of air.

It's like my throat is slowly closing and the pain is too much to bare.

Everything is dark now, Are my eyes even open? I can hardly tell,

the only thing I can think of, is if I'll end up in Heaven or Hell.

No!!! There's no time for that type of thinking!

There's still hope. There has to be a way out of this mess.

Meanwhile I'm slowly sinking, sinking deeper and deeper,

and everything I try seems to take me steeper and steeper,

into the depth of this ocean I have created.

Maybe, if I just rest the pain will go away,

but at this point I really don't care if it goes or stays.

Because I can already feel death quietly creeping my way,

and just as I start to give up, and hand death whatever life I have left to give. 

I feel a tug on my arm, and I begin to see a very bright light!

As the arm brings me upward , I begin to see strange things.

I see a man in a white robe, and magical rabbits getting ready to sing.

Wait, What!?! O, no!!

I think I'm hallucinating.

 

Can't sleep

Was in bed last night and couldn't sleep. So I wrote this in my phone, I'm not sure what it is, it could be a poem but I don't know the rules of poetry writing.

With night comes darkness, with morning comes light,
but with morning comes another day that doesn't seem so great and bright.
You try desperately to escape this madness and get to the other side,
a place where there are no worries and sadness doesn't exist.
So what's stopping you from going to this place full of bliss?
It's a creature so terrible and so ruthless,
it will haunt your dreams and ruin your solutions.
So it seems as if you are stuck here with no way of getting out,
sitting there wishing, but so full of doubt.
Then, even when you do attempt to get away,
and you're almost past the skies that are gray.
The devilish creature devours your tiny hopes and leaves you full of dismay.
So you go back to sleep, dreaming, hoping, that maybe just maybe your great escape
to the place you so hope to be, will be when you awake the next day.
 

March Madness vs School

As spring break comes to an end I was able to get a few things done for school, but not as much as  would have liked. Why? March Madness, that's why. Every time I would try to read or get something done I would end up watching a game. Today, However, I am ready to get some things done and try to limit my basketball watch. The two games that I will watch today are of course my Indy squad, and the big game for me is Wisconsin and Ole Miss. Will the big powerhouse Wisconsin overcome Ole Miss and their star Marshall Henderson? Or will the trash talking Henderson take over and win the game, this is the one game I am excited to watch today. Just to throw it out there I took Ole Miss in my bracket.

NBA Title

As you may be able to tell already, I am a big sports fan, the NBA especially. I am a die hard Indiana Pacer fan and am really excited by their play heading into the playoffs. So as I'm sitting here bored, my question is this. Who will win the NBA championship this year? In the east you have the front runner in the Miami Heat, the team that I feel everyone believes will win it. The Heat are followed by a very tight battle of teams fighting for the 2, 3, and 4 spot. As a Indiana fan I have to show them love and say that they will grab that 2 seed and give the Heat a run for their money in the Conference Finals. However, I think right now the Heat are playing too good, and will come out of the East. Wow, that hurt to say. Now the West is a different story, with many teams who could reach the Finals and potentially win it. You have OKC  who I would say are the favorites, but then you have the Spurs, Clippers, Grizzlies, and I'm going to throw in the Warriors and Nuggets, who have been playing good basketball. For the West, I'm going to take a chance and say the Spurs will beat the Thunder to make it to the Finals. From there I have the Heat once again winning it all, unless my Pacers knock them off, which is something I'd love to see. What are your thoughts?

All-Star Festivities

Beginning tonight we get to see some of the best players in the NBA show off their skills in Houston for the NBA All-Star game and competitions. Well I guess I should say tomorrow we get to see some of the best players in the NBA. Tonight, we get to see players who are really good at passing, shooting, and jumping really high. I am excited to see this years dunk contest and I feel their are some talented and creative dunkers this year. I am however worried I wont make it through the night to watch the dunk contest due to the skills competition and three point shoot out being so boring, and I will likely fall asleep. If I do make it through and I am able to watch the dunk contest, my pretend money is on Gerald Green of Indiana to win. Who do you think will win this years dunk contest?
